You can also create XML sitemaps, and they also offer few SEO plugins to help you. However, Shopify can’t create cleaner URLs than WordPress, because they automatically add prefixes to them.


In this one, I’d say Shopify wins over WordPress. This is because Shopify entirely takes care of the security and maintenance of your website. This is handled by their team of professionals, and you won’t have to worry about a thing.

WordPress, on the other end, doesn’t. The user needs to be the one to maintain and install security plugins to keep their website secure and protected at all times. This is quite hard especially for beginners who don’t have any experience in building a site.
