Case Study

THE CLIENT

Wealth Ocean has grown to develop business on a global scale in a wide range of fields, from chemical raw materials to plastics, rubbers, petroleum machinery, and more. They have distributed products for use throughout the world and in virtually every industry.

The client envisioned a simple and clean design that organized their information in an aesthetically pleasing result. The website would serve as an informational hub for thier niche visitors looking for very specific information. It would also be used as a tool for generating leads.

CHALLENGES

Due to the nature of their business, it was necessary to display their technical data in a very specific and systematic way, with a filtering system for the data. They also wanted a very specific function that will allow them to offer their visitors the option to download PDF data sheets in exchange for email or contact information as a lead generator. Additionally, they wanted to be able to download that list of contact information to use it for email blasts and other marketing activities.

SOLUTION

Cybertegic recommended the WordPress platform for a low maintenance content website that requires little to no updates for clients who do not have an in-house technical team. With the wide selection of third party plugins already in the market, it was possible to find a few combinations of plugins that allowed the client to have the website they envisioned. We vetted and tested a variety of functionalities to arrive at the best setup for the client.

GOING BEYOND

Although the client did not expect to update the content on the website very often, they maintained their relationship and communication with Cybertegic. We continue to provide the support for website related questions and further development requests.

THE CLIENT

Chang & Coté has served clients throughout California, the United States, and the Pacific Rim for over 25 years from its base in Southern California. Centrally located near the City of Industry, they are a full service law firm equipped to address the needs of any business clientele.

The client’s previous website was dated and the page was hosted on an insecure environment causing it to go down. They came with a need to revamp their website to represent their business in a more sophisticated way. The result they envisioned was a clean and elegant design that was easy to navigate.

CHALLENGES

The first challenge was the concern about losing out on leads that may be visiting their website only to see an error page because the website is down. The second challenge was the timeframe that the client requested the website to be complete. We were task to build not only the English website, but also the Chinese website at the same time in 2/3rds the normal time required.

SOLUTION

The first step was to put up a very simple temporary page with all the client’s contact information so that visitors may be directed to other channels of communication with the client. This was implemented within a day or 2 to address the urgent need. The second challenge was met under good conditions because the client had all the text and images ready to go. With our systematic communication and project planning in place, we were able to maintain efficiency and expedited the process in completing both websites. The end result was a very luxurious website to the satisfaction of the client.

GOING BEYOND

After the website launched, we continue to advise the client and standby for any future request or updates. Should their team expands, we will also train them to maintain and add content to the website on their own.
