CheongKwanJang has a strong presence globally, with five regional headquarters, and has operating branches in over 40 countries.

Challenges

Magento announced in 2019 that support for Magento 1 ends on June 30, 2020, and those who fail to upgrade to Magento 2 will be at multiple security and business risks. Korean Ginseng Corp.’s full-featured website runs on Magento 1, so they need to migrate ASAP.

The Solution

KGCUS.com was not a basic website; it had many established products and functionalities, which means it would take longer than the standard three to four-month timeframe. Cybertegic’s web development team worked on the migration quickly but made sure not to make any errors.

The Results

Cybertegic was able to migrate Korean Ginseng Corp’s website from Magento 1 to Magento 2 in just five months.
