Google Ad Manager rolls out eight new features in its recent update, along with the integration of Google Analytics 4 (GA4). These new updates include pricing optimization, ad experiences, and more. Furthermore, Google also published information about four more updates coming to Google Ad Manager soon.

To know more about these updates, below are the details about the 8 new features:

Google Ad Manager New Features

1 – PPID Time-to-Live (TTL) Extension

The PPID TTL is now extended from 90 days to 180 days. This can help publishers reach users with periods of inactivity above 90 days.

2 – Optimize pricing

Optimized pricing will increase auction floor prices to reflect and protect your inventory’s value more accurately.

3 – Facebook rebranded as Meta

Publishers will now see “Meta” in all references to the ad network. However, this will not affect publishers that have Facebook within already existing bidders or yield groups.

4 – Block non-instream video ads

The migration of the opt-in control “Allow video ads” is now complete. The control is now a block called “Block non-instream video ads.”

5 – SupplyChain Object complete

Google is working on marking the SupplyChain Object complete for the MCM Manage Inventory publishers and will roll it out by the end of June. For Google to prepare for this update, they have developed a new Ad Manager report that publishers can download to confirm ads.txt configuration for child publisher sites/apps.

6 – Google Analytics 4 integration

Google Analytics 4 integration for web data is now available in open beta. You can directly link your Ad manager account to Google Analytics 4 properties.

7 – Bid rejection reason updates

New information and details are added to the “Bid rejection reason” in reporting and data transfer. These updates include pricing, floor features, and more specific information on scenarios that can result in bid loss.

8 – WebView API for Ads

The WebView API for Ads is now available. This API help developers unlock the monetization opportunity in their WebView content.
