Cripple Creek Barbeque

This Colorado-based, family-run company is the brainchild of professional chef, John Lynch. He put up the company in mid-2009 after much convincing from his family and friends who have tasted his own barbeque sauce mix. John is on both Facebook and Twitter and apparently, he is making 90% of his sales from these social media marketing platforms. Of course, John is not resting on his laurels and he makes sure that he maintains a “clean” and easy-to-navigate website. He is also following the basic tips for running a social media campaign. John makes sure to constantly interact with his friends on Facebook (he hardly plugs his product) and he provides valuable information. He also uses his own photo as Twitter avatar for a more personal touch. Additionally, John makes sure to monitor his social media marketing campaign by looking at the analytics. Of course, his most important strategy is to make sure that his product is always at its best so his social media followers always know what they like the brand.
