LinkedIn announces updates coming to the platform for this year. These seven features will be rolled out in 2023, which will include certain changes to how users do a job search. To get a detailed idea of what these new features have to offer, here are a few details:

1 – Alt Text Functionality

Campaign Manager now allows marketers to add alternative text descriptions or alt-text to the images they use in their ads. It will help visually impaired users understand the pictures in the ads.

2 – B2B Product Search Updates

LinkedIn has recently added product pages for business profiles to help users explore products on Linkedin that they may need. They can also assist businesses in communicating with experts and, if interested, even purchasing through the page.

3 – Content Analytics

Another update to improve its user experience is to update its creator analytics dashboard, which adds audience data and top-performing content. The analytics will help users to examine and know more about their audience’s demographics. By further understanding the audience, users can deliver better content that gets attention and increase lead generation.

4 – Improved Video Accessibility

LinkedIn now automatically generates captions for videos. Users can either accept these automatic captions or choose to add or edit these captions before publishing the video.

5 – Job Search Updates

This new update is designed to help casual job seekers and will be added first in the United States. LinkedIn is, in fact, testing personalized job collections to help users discover jobs even without conducting a search.

6 – Post Scheduling

For so long, LinkedIn users have been requesting a post-scheduling feature. And now, this feature is finally coming to the platform. A schedule icon will soon be added next to the “Post” button when creating a post.

Users can simply click the icon to schedule their posts. Then, select the day and time they wish to publish the content.

7 – Standardized Accessibility Job Titles

Another interesting update coming into LinkedIn is that they are adding the field of accessibility in job titles. Users can now select from standardized job titles related to accessibility, such as accessibility designer or accessibility engineer. This update will help people quickly discover and find opportunities matching their skills.
