Yoast SEO has released its latest version, Yoast SEO 20.0, which brings new changes to its overall user interface. According to its developers, these recent changes are developed to make optimizing their WordPress website easier for its users.

New Interface

Yoast 20.0 interface takes away the old process of making users click on multiple tabs to access certain pages. This new version introduces a card-style interface.

This new look won’t require users to make choices like the old interface tab does. Instead, it presents the information in a series of features that users can quickly turn on or off. In this new interface, users see that each category has its own row. Each card will represent settings the user can choose to turn on or off.

New Structure

In its new card interface, each card features a setting that has an image at the top. It also has a short explanation below the image. In the footer of the card, users can see the on/off toggle and a “Learn More” link to the Yoast webpage, which provides a more detailed explanation of the particular setting.

When the card setting is off, the image displayed on the card will be in grayscale. This signifies that the setting is disabled. On the other hand, if the image has color, it means that it is turned on.

With this feature, users can quickly know, just by a single glance, which settings in any category are enabled or disabled.

As you can see, users can easily understand the settings with an overview. The old Yoast version couldn’t accomplish this with its old tab and click scroll-way interface.

If you’re using Yoast SEO plugin for your WordPress site, it’s best to update it as soon as possible.
