In PPC management, finding new opportunities can also be a challenge especially if you don’t know what to look for or where to look. Luckily for you and your PPC management team, today, we are sharing tips from PPC Hero on where you can find your next test subjects.
1. Goals and conversion funnels. Setting up conversion as goals is an important aspect of PPC management especially if you are using Google Analytics. It’s not overly difficult but it can be challenging. At the very least, it helps you find the loop holes in your conversion process. You or your PPC management expert can pinpoint at which part of the conversion funnel you lost your customers so you can start testing on that point.
2. Location targeting. If you have geo-targeted campaign (meaning it depends heavily on delivery zones and serviceable area), you will once again find that Google Analytics is helpful to your PPC management strategy. Go to the Audience>Demographics tab which is along the Analytics menu bar. Go to the Location link. A map will populate showing the areas in the world with the highest volume of visits to your website. It’s impressive to say the least. And more importantly, it offers new opportunities for a geo-targeted PPC management campaign.
3. Time to Purchase/Time Lag. This will help you find out the average time from first touch to conversion. This PPC management tool is especially helpful if you are an Analytics virgin. With information from this feature, you can come up with better targeted ad copies depending on your site visitors’ behaviour.
