Google Analytics 4 properties have updated their reports and now have a segment of data that shows traffic from Performance Max and Smart Shopping campaigns.
The data from these campaign types are listed under a new channel group called “cross-network.” Users can now access data by looking for the cross-network channel grouping. This will display the traffic acquisition from Google Ads sources.
Cross-Network Data Report
Cross-network is a new channel group in GA4 properties. It is listed in reports alongside other sources such as Organic Search, Paid Search, Display, Social, Paid Social, and others.
Advertisers using GA4 properties will now be able to monitor landing pages and see how much traffic is coming from their Performance Max and Smart Shopping Campaigns.
Through this feature, advertisers can now determine the results of their advertising strategies by isolating the data from their Performance Max and Smart Shopping campaigns.
All the data and metrics from these two types of campaigns will be listed under cross-network. This will make it easier for advertisers to determine how much traffic they are getting from their newest campaign types.
