Once again, Google continues to update their search format for the best search engine optimization (SEO) for users. Google’s official blog has recently announced they have reformatted their universal search results. This is only referring to normal search results, as one would typically do on https://www.google.com/, not the Google Images section. The universal page will serve as the one-search-to-end-all-searches with its inclusion of images, videos, news, and information all on the same page.
For example, if you were searching for ‘ocelots’, there would be one large image, with other similar and smaller images next to it. Below are two images that show a comparison of both before and after the update. The first is the “before” and the latter is the new update.
This update, including other updates previously mentioned in our posts, are small updates that are leading to Google’s new interface and new algorithm.
