According to Search Engine Journal, Google will display up to six website results pages before prompting the users to click on “more results.” Google explained that their continuous scrolling to the desktop was introduced so users can continue to see more helpful search results with fewer clicks.
Users can now scroll down to continue looking for relevant results and discover new ideas. Once the user reaches the bottom of the search result page, up to six results pages will automatically show. At the bottom of these six-page results, users will see a “More results’ button if they wish to continue searching further for results.
