According to Google, this new guide visualizes and defines the various elements that users can find on the search results page.

The new Visual Elements guide features the most common elements on Google’s search results page. This includes the ff:
- Attribution: This includes elements that are referred to as identifiers, such as the URL, site name, and favicon.
- Exploration features: It is referred to as “People Also Ask,” which shows questions and answers related to the user search query.
- Text results: It is the list of the 10 websites and their links most relevant to the search query asked by the user.
- Rich results: These are text results that show additional lines of information that users may find interesting, including review stars and recipe steps.
- Video and image results: This section shows photos and videos from web pages that are relevant to the user search query.
As you can see from Google’s guide, each element has its own illustration, which shows how they look in the search results. Furthermore, this new visual guide will depict the different features that are included within each of the main elements in the search results.
For example, in the illustration, which refers to the word “attribution.” It includes the following elements such as:
