To see your Search Engine Optimization, or SEO, progress for your keywords, take advantage of a report card by Google. Upon request, Google can send a report card letting you know how your website is doing for SEO. Google won’t send you a detailed list of what you’re doing right and wrong but you can take advantage of the report card and do some research on your Sitelinks.
In a recent blog post, we discussed what Sitelinks are and how you can optimize the Sitelinks by making simple changes. If your website is doing well, you can see your navigation info underneath the website information. Keep in mind, however, not every site has their Sitelinks listed on the Google search.
Listed in the Sitelinks are 3-8 links from the navigation bar or links that are frequently used on the website. If the Sitelinks fail to appear in the Google search, this may indicate that either the Google robots are unable to bypass the main page or there are flash/java-based pages, which are invisible to search engines.
Usage of the Google search Sitelinks and the Google report card will allow you to gain insight into the progress of your keyword handling gradually increasing your website position on the SEO.
